Step by step
Abdominal cavity access
Incise the skin horizontally, approximately 3-8cm above the pubic symphysis.
Incising and closing skin
Before incising the skin, it is advisable to mark the skin perpendicular to the planned incision line. These markings will help with the closure of the skin.
