- To completely/radically resect all the breast tissue of one breast. The pectoralis major and minor muscles should be preserved during the procedure.

- Incision extension in case of tumor invasion in the skin
- Scar localization above inframammary fold
- Fascia preservation
- Dog ear formation prevention

Mark the breast contour, midline and cleavage line on the skin. Lift the nipple and draw the borders caudal and cranial of the nipple to create an elliptical shape extending from lower medial to higher lateral.
Incision extension
When there is tumor invasion in the skin, this should be included in the ellips.
