Incision secures €5M funding for new services for its users

On 27 May, 2021, Incision received €5M funding in the latest investment round from SHS and Rubio Impact Ventures. The two new investors will support Incision’s mission to become the leading platform for surgical care and create an ecosystem where high-quality surgical knowledge is accessible to everyone, facilitating the dissemination and standardisation of best practices.

Rubio Impact Ventures is a team of entrepreneurs, investors and change-makers who are advocates of innovation and help valuable companies and entrepreneurs to solve the biggest problems of today’s society.
Additionally, SHS is an investment company that focuses on medical technology, life science, diagnostics and digital health.
While commemorating this big milestone, the CEO of Incision, Ritsaart van Montfrans stated:

Expanding to new countries
With our expansion to the UK, Scandinavia, the Middle East and Belgium, Incision will be closer to its ambition of connecting 10,000 clinics globally. Surgical staff such as surgeons, scrub nurses and residents will be able to exchange best practices and valuable knowledge to become more competent in the OR and improve their patients’ care and safety.
